What is a Mycotoxin?
Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by fungi that can normally grow on some plants and grains. These plants include cereal grains, clover and alfalfa, and some weeds. More than 500 mycotoxins have been identified to date. Under certain hot and humid conditions the fungi can multiply and produce fungal spores (mycotoxins) at levels that may cause harm to animals that consume these plants or plant products. (see The Danger of Mycotoxins)

What is Re Move?
Re Move helps bind toxins found normally in the environment, so that the mycotoxin passes out in the faeces. Re Move has been formulated from specific ingredients that may bind harmful mycotoxins in the horse’s digestive tract during periods of mycotoxin contamination. Re Move is designed to bind with the polar and non-polar mycotoxins.

About the ingredients
Mycosorb A+ contains two main ingredients; a specific strain of yeast and algae meal. Mycotoxins are thought to bind to this strain of yeast, thus removing them from the horse’s digestive tract. The algae is also thought to target and absorb different types of normal environmental toxins, removing a wider range when combined.

Actigen and Ecocell are strains of yeast containing Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS). MOS are considered a prebiotic and are thought to promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria in the hindgut. They may also boost the immune function in the digestive tract.

Power Stance is a powdered coconut oil which contains MCT (medium chain triglycerides)  which may support normal gut health, appetite and digestive function.
